Serving the World’s Largest Art Forwarder
Bohren’s was selected by the world’s largest art forwarder to handle a portion of their Frieze Show clients. Trucks could only be received after 10 pm. The customer was so impressed with our equipment and timely arrival they snapped a picture for us!

Huge Sculpture Moved by Flatbed – NY

Midnight Delivery to the MET – NYC

Safe Late-Night Transportation
It was a midnight run for the Bohren’s Fine Art team from JFK airport to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. Four Bohren’s handlers worked in conjunction with handlers at the MET to ensure yet another safe and smooth delivery.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art – NYC

Sculpture Collection with Light Rigging
In November 2017 Bohren’s had the honor of moving one of the most interesting installations we had ever seen. “Theater of Disappearance,” By Adrian Villar Rojas, was installed on the rooftop of The Metropolitan Museum of Art Fifth Avenue from April-October 2017.

Queen Mary Scale Model

Custom Crating, Packing & Transportation
Bohren’s was hired to move the 85-year-old, 21-foot-long, ship builder’s scale model of the Queen Mary to California.  The deinstallation and crating from South Street Seaport in NYC took 3 days and then a climate-controlled tractor trailer with team drivers moved it to its new home aboard the ship in Long Beach, CA.

“Laundromat” by Ai Weiwei

Storage & Transportation
“Laundromat,” by the famous Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, addresses the current refugee crisis. The installation (Deitch Projects, NYC) features racks of actual clothing and shoes taken from refugee camps housing Syrian immigrants. Bohren’s received numerous overseas containers, stored the contents, and delivered them to the gallery for installation.
