Large Steel Racks Facilitate Safe Arrival
To safely get two very large and heavy statues through a gallery entrance, Bohren’s used skillful engineering and welding to build large steel racks to move them in. Another service to add to our resume!
Serving the World’s Largest Art Forwarder
Bohren’s was selected by the world’s largest art forwarder to handle a portion of their Frieze Show clients. Trucks could only be received after 10 pm. The customer was so impressed with our equipment and timely arrival they snapped a picture for us!
Sculpture Storage & Transportation
Working with our flatbed partner we were commissioned to move this huge outdoor sculpture from our warehouse, where it was being stored for years, to upstate NY.
Fine Art Logistics & Transportation
As part of a large project for one of our art logistics customers, we made numerous trips to the Guggenheim during the course of a week, after having collected crated artwork throughout the tri-state area.
Safe Late-Night Transportation
It was a midnight run for the Bohren’s Fine Art team from JFK airport to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. Four Bohren’s handlers worked in conjunction with handlers at the MET to ensure yet another safe and smooth delivery.
Custom Crate Arrives Onsite in Japan
This is our custom crate arriving at a show in Japan. The crate was opened for inspection only to find the art in perfect condition! The final image is the art installed on site for the show.
Sculpture Collection with Light Rigging
In November 2017 Bohren’s had the honor of moving one of the most interesting installations we had ever seen. “Theater of Disappearance,” By Adrian Villar Rojas, was installed on the rooftop of The Metropolitan Museum of Art Fifth Avenue from April-October 2017.
Storage & Transportation
“Laundromat,” by the famous Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, addresses the current refugee crisis. The installation (Deitch Projects, NYC) features racks of actual clothing and shoes taken from refugee camps housing Syrian immigrants. Bohren’s received numerous overseas containers, stored the contents, and delivered them to the gallery for installation.
